As for dreamish leading man... it's always been Sam Elliott for me. Don't matter what genre, Sam's the man! I suggested to CBS they get him to play Gibbs' older brother in NCIS, but they have yet to heed my wisdomical notion. Seriously, wouldn't they be the perfect fraterly match?!

I did not mean to alarm--we have no crisis--all is ok, more or less. Doc tole me this week that Granny might have two months....but another doc told us that in January. She is comfortable and stable--an Uncle an gang will keep eye on her fer me fer a few days.
I'se jes' goin' to peek in at some far flung clanfolk an' give a fun talk to the straw-suckin' set up in the hills.
