Mindscape

When I is maxed in real life, I is driven to mindscapes--ya know, them fantasy reveries, daydreams, zone out minutes snatched a'tween the duties on the other side of yore closed door.

Here's a recent one (click photo):

Aunty, you dreaming of Christmas in Paris? That sounds like a great mindscape to me. So smart of you to take a bit of a time out when the realities are challenging. Godspeed to you and Granny and the rest of the clan.

Bwhahahahhahahahah. I think I have that problem but I think it's more like Everything I see looks like Bacon.

I find art to be a way to escape, along with dancing and swimming in the ocean. I'm lucky I can access all three pretty easily.

Aunty, I just ordered the salt book, hope I got the right one? It's Salt, A World History, right? That's the one I ordered! Here it is Christmas and I'm ordering books for me!!! Thanks so much for the suggestion.

Au revoir!

Ahhhh, that's SO MUCH BETTER!! Thank you for taking me to a beautiful place. Wish I had the dough to fly all of us gals out there for a weekend of champagne and croissants!

Merci, mon petit fleur!

PS: Do they REALLY have violet iced cream puffs in Paree? Divine and highly civilized.

ok, now I see what you're talking about. Ahahahaha. I loved her reason for going almost as much as the photos.

Good Evening Aunty Belle,

Not real big on fluffy pastries, but I enjoyed the pictures and the Cole Porter.

Hope granny is doing OK, so you can take the stress down a notch.

That was divine. Who wouldn't enjoy a year of living shamelessly in Paris? (wow, look at all those raised hands)
Thanks Aunty for finding that and sharing.

Aunty,
Fin?
HAH! I am just getting started on my newly discovered passion for matching my beloved architecture with fantastical pastries. Of course I will need to do intensive research requiring travel to the source of the inspiration. Santa can I please go to Paris for Christmas?

To Moi, everything in the universe looks like dessert. And shoes.

I'd visit Paris if it wasn't full of frenchies.
