A Great Idea is Born!

NOTE: You might want to be serious about yore junque as a source of barter--please take a look here ( caution: this clip is not wif'out ideology, but the mechanics is easy to follow)

Whoa! Hey y'all!

Iffin' ya seen mah last post about New Year purge of ole junk, a cyber yard sale, then mebbe ya read one of Fishy's comments:

"Aunty, if you have no objections I would like to tell your blogging participants bout a few things I hold dear so they can keep a lookyout for them during they's great purges of 2009. Fishy collects antique horse toys , tea tins in architectural forms, anything fleur-d-lis , non-asian blue and white transferware china, and silver pill boxes old or new!"

Well, now--ain't that jes' a splendid idea? In addition to throwin' out stuff, who knows? Mayhap some have jes' what youse seekin'...or you have what they covet? Yore old clothes is someone else's Vintage Look.

Can we work it this-a-way? ....when ya post yore junk photos or discard pile, add a note about what you might like to find --I KNOW, I KNOW!! The WHOLE idea is to git rid of thangs, not acquire more, but it might jes' be that their trash is YORE treasure.

Oh this is gonna be such fun.

Essential info is that on Tuesday & Wednesday, Jan 6-7, please post a list, of or photos of, the stuff ya's throwin' out--purgin', clearing away--out wif ole junk, makin' closets and drawers and garages new.

Besides, ya' know we all wanna peek inside each
other's "real" life --heh, so at least show us yore junk!!

Aunty Belle,
PRAY I can figure out the problem of getting my pictures from the camera to the computer afore the cyber sale!
This is gonna be a howl!
Did ya not fall in love with the picture of the Eiffel Tower as a butterfly over on the Pond post?

Most of our junque hasn't reached the 50 year cutoff to be considered "antique," it is junk. We're going through stuff now - must be a New Years thing, starting off by dumping old baggage...

Big thing for me is to successfully find my way into the garage and then back out again without GPS.

I doan never drink it no more fer refreshment. Only as a remedy: a cold, physical exhaustion, caffeine headache.)

Aunty Belle,
I'se sad to learn you got caught by a mean ol Rhinovirus! Here is mah "cure" I will share wif you. For one day, every hour on the hour take a steamy hot shower to liquify the thick junk packed into those sinuses. While standing in that shower, work hard to get as much outta there as you can. Ain't a very ladylike process but it sure helps.
It de-pressurizes your face and head.It also gets rid of a large percentage of the active virus spore so shortens the timeline of the cold. Drink at least 4 ounces of water every hour on the hour to keep hydrated and limit foods to chicken soup.

aunty ..
well you know ..
at one time coca-cola was considered medicinal anyway..
and decades ago when my brother was a wee lad and couldn't keep anything down due to a bad virus .. the ole' doc suggested spoonfuls of coke .. it worked .. it stayed down.
and since i'm dealing with the lingering effects of a massive cold i got up and drank a coke .. the empty bottle is right beside me .. :)
