Aw, shoot! It took me about 10 minutes to watch the 45-second one. I'll have to take this to the lieberry tomorrow... when it's HOPEFULLY not raining, which makes the connection even slower than usual... and watch the rest.

Love ya loads, sweet thang!
Have a JESUS-filled day! ^i^

I think they're weirdly wonderful. When Jansen speaks of them as life and as part of "evolution," it just strikes me as silly – him full of his own self importance. Really, they're not life. They're just machines, robots, brilliantly executed but not to any purpose that I can see beyond being a mere curiosity. You know what did disturb me though? The SOUNDS these things make.

uh, yeah - I'm with you Aunty - these are creepy. creepy-crawly. That robot dog is going to cause me to have a bad dream tonight. And that weird little Lego deal, that reminded me something in a Tim Burton movie. Like Beatle Juice. :::shudder:::

I'm a mixture of awe and creepy. I love that art and computers are able to create things my brain can't comprehend, but I'm also in agreement with Moi.... it's all a bit silly to take it so seriously.

We make machines. They have no soul.

i can just see it: the women in japan with the fake babies and the robot dogs. add to the list a robot maid and handyman and you got a full fledged soul less life -however, on the bright side, there will be no dooky.

definitely genius... like this or not, the problem solving to achieve this is awesome. Not to mention the patience required. Er... many people who are "creative" get carried away with the "creator" identiy so maybe part of the "techno-evolution" but not the evolution of breathers.
