You'se got yerself some fine ideas. I am a bit ashamed to admit but when I was a crawling up onto a chair in mah closet to look for gloves and hats for the Christmas dash; I saw crammed back into the corner my mother in laws set of electric curlers. The Nonafish has been gone from this Earth for 16years come January.
Thing is Mermaid and her friends were fond of doing the dress up-make-up hair silliness things for a spell and we kept them ol rollers around for these occasions. Course Mermaid ain't been near them in probably a dozen years herself. I am just wondering how they managed to land in MY closet?
Sad thing is they are still up there! I don't rightly know why I didn't fetch 'em down while I was up on that chair but I was focused on "the dash" so left 'em be.
Course, I am still having trouble getting the pictures from my camera to my computer (there is some glitch I can't figure out) but iffen I get this squared away I can give everybody a good laugh. I might even locate an old pin or two Boxer might want to add to her velvety project! And I mebbe can take a picture of that giant press Blowfish has in the garage that K9 might covet a plenty!
Oh what a brilliant idea. Will see if I can get some pics together and participate. But I really really need to do the proper garage sale this year sometime.
Aunty, you are too funny. Timely, too. Hubby was out in the garage this morning going through some boxes he brought home from his office several months ago. I've been after him about them ever since. Of course he couldn't go through them without involving me in the process since he's not sure what to do with "stuff he doesn't need anymore"... certificates, photos, trophies... blah, blah.
Your idea is a good one. I am not so much the pack rat ... so I thought ... until now that I can't get another item into closets that used to hold all my children's belongings. How is it that I filled those up so quickly when they moved out?
My problem is I spend too much time outside and not enough on the inside anymore. Still... I am aiming to get every closet cleaned out this year. We are keeping only what "need". Hmmmm... we'll see how that goes.
