Note: Chaucer on Islam at Back Porch
MOI done thrown out some tags fer a fun round robin of meme memoirs. Here's the back-story:
The fabulous Meghan tagged me for The Six-Words Meme, which was originally started by Smith Magazine. The history is thus:
Legend has it that Hemingway was once challenged to write a story in only six words. His response? “For sale: baby shoes, never worn.” Last year, SMITH Magazine re-ignited the recountre by asking our readers for their own six-word memoirs. They sent in short life stories in droves, from the bittersweet (“Cursed with cancer, blessed with friends”) and poignant (“I still make coffee for two”) to the inspirational (“Business school? Bah! Pop music? Hurrah”) and hilarious (“I like big butts, can’t lie”).
Moi puts her own twist on it--add in art/photos.
Example:
The Apple's bitten. No going back.
Here is my Meme Memoir:
She's Gone. Looked Everywhere. Except Spain
I’m taggin':
Foamy,
Enemy of the Republic
Gypsy
Boney
Lamby
Pete Bogs (Bawgs)
These here is the rules:
1) Write your own six word memoir.
2) Post it on your blog and include a visual illustration if you’d like.
3) Link to the person that tagged you in your post, and to the original post if possible so we can track it as it travels across the blogosphere.
4) Tag at least five more blogs with links.
5) Don’t forget to leave a comment on the tagged blogs with an invitation to play.
6) Have fun.

When it comes to his computer contraption...dang! I is a dummy.
Got the "meat" done and trying to figure outhow to "link" stuff....
Now, if'n it was "links" well, that would be different....just make 'em with eggs and some hash browns or grits. (and as far as that opinion stuff? I like my grits with a lil butter and some sugar, sugar)

(HA!)
Actually, when I hilited and copied your "history" it also hung onto the links.
That was the hardest part...well for an old computer contraption user like me, that is.
So, I think it's done....
Say... isn't that K9's hen over there.... hmmm. I got the links done, but, now I got a hankerin' for some eggs...

Well Aunty, thankyou for thinking of me for this Meme but since I am also retired (maybe temporarily, haven't decided yet) do you mind if I play here? Here goes.....

Best I could come up with now that my creative juices have gone and dried up on me.

Gypsy--Shure ya can play here--so pleased to have ya', Sugar Pie--loved your meme, as meme, but, now how does we revive ya??

Jes' be sure ya have a Prince Charming waiting around with his kiss in case that apple is deadly.
Once in awhile, a Prince is a good t hang to have around.

Had to scroll down to second to last post to see the original.
Danged dog is so old, though, he may just have been the original model!
