Still Roaming in Random Time

More random ruminations.....

This week I boarded planes twice whar' the Po-lice were at the gate. Hmmn.

Fuschia looks like it sounds

I 'se readin' above mah intelligence and had to look up the following words:
homunculus, philter, hierophany.

My genealogy includes a famous poet.

I have been here:

and it's time ter go again......

And, I want to go ter Baku

I made some baked custard fer dessert; Uncle will be delirious.

Clean fresh male, (no after shave) is a good smell.

Nobody will teach me how to play Generals

Contessa Infini, youse a smart one--it is. In France. Wanna come next time? All is very spare. Ancient. Cells with a window over the fields. Food is vegetarian only--and the monks grow it themselves. The fragrance of the lavender is intoxicatin'.

Nope, not Wadsworth, Dickinson or Frost. But a woman. Mor'n that I ought not tell.

Foamy Lady, I does hope ter get back: you would not believe the silence. Crickets sound like airplanes in the absence of any other sound. And the sky...how can the Milky Way be so close???

And Foamy, mah folks include handy folks too, and even mostly. Some humdingers as well.

She-puppy, ha! Ya git that does ya?
I oughta sneak up on 'em wif' an alias...what name should I use?

Cistercium Mater Nostra.

Been there, seen that, done that.
Well, been there anyway!!!
At least if it is near Gordes in Provence I have.

I couldn't claim to have really seen it or done it if I am an atheist can I ??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Every time I drop by here there is something interesting. Maybe that is why I drop by?

Ardlair the Fair, (if prodigal) Ya' does make me smile--In all of this end of the blogosphere, youse the one what knows this place-- and was wanderin' across the cyberuniverse to pop in jes' when this photo appears--- Why am I not surprised? Cistercian indeed: Abbaye Notre Dame de Sénanque.

Was ya a day tripper or did you stay, arise fer them wee mornin' keeping of the hours?

Take care if ya' visit in the Spring or late Autumn-- mayhap you'll share yore soup supper wif' a thorny ole biddy--though the rule of silence will shield ya' some.

Cistercian closer ter yore shore: did ya' make it to Quarr when Dom Warrilow was on our side of eternity?

Agnostic is the best ya' can wring from yore disposition. Atheism bein' too unscientific fer ya inquirin' mind.

Heck, even science is defective, right? Praestet fides supplementum
sensuum defectui.

Pax et bonum.

yes i want to go next time.

is the family she-poet still living, or dead?

Aunty Belle said...

Infini, she is dead.

I'll give ya' a few month's lead afore I head to the lavender fields at Senanque. You'll love it.

Hmm. I guess Gwendolyn Brooks is out. Sappho, maybe?

You're quite the jet setter, Aunty.

Aunty Belle said...

Mr. X., Aunty has a philosophy:

fill up yore days wif' great experiences--they'll keep ya' warm iffin'(Lord have mercy!)the day comes when ya' cain't go no more.

X. Dell said...

Far be it from me to question your sagacity, Aunty.

BTW, if you take a look at The X-Spot, you'll see I answered your tag.

Aunty Belle said...
